21 Weeks!

This picture was taken on 3/12/10 when I was 21 weeks... and Im finally feeling better and more like my old self again. Besides getting tired more easily, I have nothing to complain about ;) Im just enjoying this middle stage that everyone says is the best part.

19 weeks!

my tummy finally popped out! Im feeling a lot better now and have my appetite back...thank goodness! Im almost half way through (19 weeks) and time is flying by!

Freddy and I got baptized last Sunday at Cornerstone Church in Phoenix...we have been wanting to get baptized together for several months and and our baseball schedule finally allowed us to do so...we were able to do it with Freddy's sister and her family while they were visiting for the weekend from Tijuana and also our good friends Myla and Fernie. It was a really wonderful time and am glad that we were able to do it before the baseball season started again.

6 weeks Along and Going Strong...

The egg has now traveled through the fallopian tube and divided itself into identical cells...it was a ball of cells, safe in the womb, and split itself into the embryo and placenta. The amniotic sac and fluid formed a nice cushion for the baby...In week five the baby was the size of an apple seed and was beginning to form major organs like the heart, kidney, liver and stomach as well as the baby's nervous, circulatory and digestive systems. Now in my sixth week, the baby has grown to the size of a sweet pea! The baby is now starting to sprout the nose, eyes, ears, cheeks and chin. The hands and feet are webbed like paddles and might be wiggling by the end of the week! The heart is beating almost as twice as fast as mine and the blood is starting to circulate! What a beautiful and miraculous process God has created!

Im pregnant! Estoy Embarazada!

I was laying in bed on Saurday morning (11/21/09) thinking that its already the 21st and Im five days late! After six months of trying, I knew at that moment that I was pregnant. I took Freddy to the field later on that afternoon and quickly rushed to get my surprise ready for when he got back from the game. I took my pregnancy test and i passed with flying colors. I got our rib dinner all ready and the table set up with flowers and candles and our romantic music from when we first started dating.
Unfortunately Freddy had not been playing well (according to him) and did not have as great of a night as he would have hoped, so it was a quiet dinner. I didnt care because all i was doing was laughing inside at the pregnancy test wrapped in plastic wrap that was sticking out of his drink cup, and him not realizing it. Finally by the end of his drink, he finally saw it...unwrapped it with a VERY puzzled look...looking at it as though it was something from another planet...finally after a minute or so he realized he was going to be a Daddy!!!! and of course i had to take another test to prove to him that we are going to have a baby...it was too faint of a double line for our liking so we took both the tests to the pharmacist and she took one look at them and said...there is no need to buy a third, you are pregnant!

hello salt lake!

Freddy is starting his fifth year of playing professional baseball. Spring training has come to a close and we have since made the treck from Phoenix to Salt Lake City (AAA ). Freddy has started off fairly well and we are looking forward to a great season!
